




Residents of Tha Yet Oek Village in Maungdaw Township say members of the Arakan Army (AA) pressured the families of two slain Rohingya youths to record videos denying the group’s involvement in the killings.

Two young men, identified as Dowla Yah (Enus) and Muhammad Sawlam, were reportedly abducted and beheaded in Tha Yet Oek Village, Maungdaw Township, raising serious concerns about civilian safety in northern Arakan. Residents report restricted movement and growing fear among local communities.

A Rohingya father and his son were reportedly abducted in the early hours of March 28 from U Shin Kya village in northern Maungdaw, according to local residents.





Armed bandits broke through the wall of a home in Leda and abducted a man after nearly an hour of attempts. Several mobile phones were also robbed from Rohingya customers in nearby shops on the same night.

A twenty year old Rohingya woman was found dead in a shelter room in Ukhia. Police say the cause of death is still uncertain and an investigation is underway.
